The Technology

Metalens Optical Engine

We built a proprietary optical engine — the MOE — that combines a metalens nanostructure array with a microLED display. Unlike conventional AR glasses that rely on side projection through thick waveguides, our system places the display directly in front of the eye for unmatched brightness and efficiency.

Our Story

Built by an Athlete, for Athletes

Frank Lin — Co-founder & CEO

Frank Lin is both a competitive triathlete and a veteran researcher from Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) — which puts him at the exact intersection of athletic performance and deep tech engineering.

Training for triathlons, Frank experienced first-hand how every existing AR headset failed the moment he stepped outside. Too dim in sunlight. Too heavy to run in. Dead battery before the finish line. He knew the technology to fix this existed — it just needed to be assembled in a completely new way.

In April 2024, he co-founded LiPro Vision to build the optical engine that athletes actually need.
